Product Description

Tangy sun dried tomato bits with basil, garlic, and Italian herbs to mix with olive oil and serve with crusty bread cubes. All natural. No MSG. Vegan.

Net Weight .35 oz. Yield: approx. 2/3 cup of dipping oil.

Serve With fresh, crusty bread cubes.

Dipping Oil: Stir together mix and 1 Tbls. hot water in a small sealable bowl. Add 1/2 cup olive oil, cover, shake well. Chill at least 1 hour, overnight is best.
Herbed Butter: With an electric mixer, beat together 1/2 cup softened butter and mix. Chill at least 1 hour, overnight is best.

Sweet Balsamic vinegar, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian herbs in a dressing perfect for fresh garden greens, especially Romaine.

1 pkt. Tuscan Bread Dipping Oil Seasoning Mix, unprepared
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup vegetable, canola, or olive oil

~ In a microwave-safe bowl, stir together Bread Dipping Oil Seasoning Mix, vinegar, and water.
~ Microwave on high for 40 seconds.
~ Pour mixture into a blender, add oil, and blend for 15 seconds.
~ Pour into a bottle or cruet.
~ Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 1 month.

Recipe: Tuscany Roast Potatoes
Quick and easy side dish blends the flavors of sun-dried tomatoes and basil with red potatoes and Parmesan cheese. Makes the perfect accompaniment to roast chicken.

1 pkt. Tuscan Bread Dipping Oil Seasoning Mix, prepared as for dipping oil, except reducing oil to 1/4 cup
up to 2 pounds red / new potatoes, scrubbed clean, halved or quartered depending on size
grated Parmesan or Romano cheese, as needed, optional

~ Place potatoes on a cookie sheet; drizzle with Tuscan oil and shake pan to coat.
~ Sprinkle potatoes with Parmesan/Romano, if desired.
~ Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15-25 minutes, until potatoes are tender. (Test tenderness by piercing with a fork.)

~ With an electric mixer, cream together Tuscan Mix and cream cheese until smooth and blended; gently stir in roasted peppers.
~ Spread a thin, even layer of mixture over slices of salami.
~ Wrap coated salami around the top half of the pretzel rods.
~ Chill until ready to serve.

Recipe: Roasted Balsamic Carrots
Simple to make with 3 ingredients! Serve hot or at room temperature.

2 Tbls. balsamic vinegar
1 lb. bag baby carrots

~ In a medium bowl, stir together Tuscan Dipping Oil and vinegar.
~ Add carrots to bowl and toss to coat.
~ Spread coated carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt, if desired.
~ Roast, uncovered, in a preheated 425 degree oven, shaking pans occasionally, until cooked through, 25 - 30 minutes.
~ Serve hot or at room temperature.

Recipe: Tomato Basil Pizza Sauce
Sometimes, simplicity is best. This pizza sauce is a prime example of simple, quality ingredients melding together to create the perfect base for an impeccable pizza.

1 pkt. Tuscan Bread Dipping Oil Seasoning Mix, unprepared
1 cup San Marzano tomato sauce (available at most grocery stores)

~ Stir together Tuscan Mix and tomato sauce; chill at least 1 hour.

Recipe: Sun-Dried Tomato Basil Focaccia
Savory Italian flat bread to serve along side pasta or soup. Lightly seasoned with sweet, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, and garlic.

1 pkg. Beer Bread Mix (Original, Rustic Wheat & Herb, or Pizza Margherita), unprepared
12 oz. bottle of beer or seltzer
1 pkt. Tuscan Bread Dipping Oil Seasoning Mix, prepared as for dipping oil
coarse sea salt, as needed for sprinkling

~ In a bowl, stir together Beer Bread Mix and beer/seltzer; set dough aside.
~ Use a small amount of Dipping Oil to lightly oil a 9" X 13" pan.
~ With wet hands, press the Beer Bread dough evenly into the greased pan.
~ Brush remaining Dipping Oil over dough.
~ With the tips of your fingers, make impressions about half-way through the dough, about 1 per square inch (this is to ensure bread doesn't rise too much).
~ Sprinkle with sea salt.
~ Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
~ Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice into strips.
~ If desired, serve with Pizza Sauce (see recipe, above) for dipping.
